Glass & Mixed Media Workshops

Dichroic Glass Jewelry:

Dichroic Glass Jewelry:: No jewelry or glass experience needed. Students will learn how to cut, design and prepare jewelry pendants using small pieces of fusible and dichroic glass. Glass compatibility, fusing temperatures and processes will be discussed. Led by mixed media artist Pattie Appleby, participants will create several of their own pendants or small window hangings while learning the basics of glasswork. Students who also register for the PMC workshop are encouraged to bring their glass pendants to incorporate into the PMC workshop. $35.00 materials fee (includes firing). $95.00** for non-members/$85.00** for ELEMENTS members.

From I-285 North or South:

1. Take Exit 39B, Highway 78 East

2. Take Exit 4, Mountain Industrial Boulevard-Turn Left.

3. Turn Left at the Third Light, Elmdale Dr.

4. Cross over Tucker Industrial Road. KPS is on the right-hand corner of Elmdale and Tucker Industrial Road, in front of KPS. The parking lot entrance is located on Elmdale.

5. Enter at the front door.

From I-85 North or South and Jimmy Carter Boulevard:

1. Take Jimmy Carter towards Tucker. The street will change it's name to Mountain Industrial Blvd. when it enters DeKalb County.

2. You will pass Hugh Howell Rd. and go two more lights to Elmdale Dr. Turn Right.

3. Cross over Tucker Industrial Road. Elements is on the right-hand corner of Elmdale and Tucker Industrial Road, in front of KPS. The parking lot entrance is located on Elmdale.

4. Enter at the front door.
