Open to everyone, ELEMENTS' end-of-session
raku party is a great introduction into this exciting firing process.
Create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces or simply witness and learn
about this dramatic style of firing. The party is free to attend,
firing is only $5 per piece (this price includes glazing,
lidded pots count as two pieces). Dozens of glazes are available.
Pieces to be fired must be created out of a KPS clay body (preferably
raku) and bisque-fired prior to the party. Pot-luck party
participants are encouraged to bring a snack or drinks to share.

31. A. Murphy & J. Winokur 10 a 4 p (Last kiln
load fires at 4 pm.)
**All current ELEMENTS students may glaze and fire pieces free
of charge as part of course enrollment.**
